CrystecPharma win Making Pharmaceuticals Award for Innovation in Manufacturing
Crystec are honoured to have been awarded the Making Pharmaceuticals Award for Innovation in Manufacturing. The award was presented for Crystec’s mSAS® (modified Supercritical Anti-Solvent) technology and chosen from shortlisted companies including kg-pharma, iDi Pac, Glatt Protech and SSPC, Bernal Institute.
The Innovation in Manufacturing Award is to identify truly innovative thinking, use of technology, and application of production techniques to greater effect. We would like to thank the judging panel for recognising the transformative benefits of mSAS® for pharmaceutical development, and ultimately, to patient care. Their comments are truly appreciated:
“Particle engineering has been a goal for pharma manufacturing for a long time. It is excellent to see a scalable PE process that can cover a range of pharma sectors, and provides an innovative way to manufacture materials for pharmaceutical use.”
The winners of the Making Pharmaceuticals Awards were announced on Tuesday 30th April during an awards dinner in Coventry, UK. As well as Innovation in Manufacturing, awards were offered for Community Partnership of the Year, Sustainable Achievement and Innovation in Distribution.
